1.

My name is Lary Eugine Omolo aged 12 years in class seven. My school is called Dr. BT cooper united Methodist academy in Kayole Nairobi. I lost my parents in the year 2002 and I stay with feel like an orphan as the school tries to provide me with basic needs like food, education and many others. Before I joined the school I could not read and speak English given that I was staying with my grandmother upcountry.

The school has helped me to improve academically and I like mathematics which is my favorite subject. Last term I scored 92% in favorite subjects. The other we learn are Swahili, English, religious education and science

When I grow up I would like to be a doctor

I thank the school and the teachers because they have given me hope in my life and I want to work hard to change the life of our family. I have one brother and two sisters

2.

My name is Antony Ochieng aged 11years and I am in class six. When I joined Dr. BT cooper united Methodist academy, I was surprised to find such a humble and understanding school. The school is so hospitable and coming from a poor family background where my father is Jobless and my mother sells vegetables on the road. The school has transformed my life as I am now able to get education, food and spiritual guidance though at times we lack what to eat in the school when the food is over.

We have good teachers who have volunteered to equip us. I pray that you help us to have our own school since ours was demolished.

Because of what the school is doing to me my father has since joined united Methodist church after seeing what the school was doing to me also looking at my performance at school. Although mathematics is the only subject I see challenging to me I am determine to work hard so that I become somebody in future and help my parents
